Foster Care Training

Without a self-care plan, the stress and trauma of working with system involved youth and their families can result in vicarious traumatization (VT), which can interfere with both professional performance and personal life. To address and prevent VT, participants will assess the current impact of work stress and trauma on their personal and professional lives and learn ways to prevent and address VT through self-care tools (breath work, energy medicine, energy psychology). Participants will develop a prevention and intervention plan for themselves.
