Foster Care Training

This training will review how exposure to adverse childhood experiences impact youth and predispose them to the experience of complex trauma and PTSD.  This training includes a discussion of basic principles of the SERVE Model, a brain-based approach to working with youth impacted by trauma. The discussion addresses the advantages, risks and limitations of these approaches in various settings.
