Do you ever feel like the people you work with (clients, partners, families, participants) have come to think of their “problem” as part of who they are? Or like the problem has become so big and heavy that you won’t ever be able to get around it? This training will be an opportunity to learn some new tools for approaching problems that allow the people you work with to write new stories about their lives and find new solutions to the challenges they face. We will explore concepts from narrative practice and collective narrative practice and make time to put these concepts to work. This training will be strengths-based, client-centered and heavy on participation.
