Staff who work directly with family systems obtain an overview of family work intervention concepts consistent with many of the principles that underlie such Evidence-Based Practices (EBP) as functional, structural, brief strategic, and multi-systemic family work with an emphasis on Pain in the Heart Theory (PITH). This introductory workshop prepares participants for the 4 week seminar that explores these concepts in more depth and participants will be able to observe from behind the mirror and participate in a reflecting team with the family during the session.
