This training will focus on providing information and understanding related to the neurological systems which impact the overlap of trauma experiences and the attachment relationship in foster youth. Additionally, the training will review risk and resiliency factors for foster youth who experience trauma based on their attachment style and the presentation of their caregivers. Recent research will be reviewed and a group discussion will be utilized to support the integration of information into clinical practice.
