Foster Care Training

This workshop will explore evidenced based strategies for helping youth.  We will explore the different theoretical frameworks and how best to utilize methods of intervention with a special emphasis on understanding directive vs non-directive approaches. This is a highly interactive workshop that integrates theory, techniques and creativity to build playful interactions into every encounter.  Evidenced based interventions for youth will include expressive arts, role-play, puppet play, and storytelling.
