Foster Care Training

The focus of the training will be on understanding why a youth experiences grief and loss and addressing how these feelings are expressed through actions. The trainer will present a case study and review the progress of the application of 3-5-7 Grief and Loss framework. The trainer will provide tools for our Resource Parents and outside providers to help support the youth through the process of grief and loss. Participants will understand why a youth is experiencing grief and loss and learn ways to address how a youth may express his/her grief and loss. Participants will be provided tangible tools for themselves, resource parents and other support team members to support youth through the process of grief and loss.
