Foster Care Training

When working with youth, it is imperative all staff know and understand the importance of the link between trauma and substance use. Participants with be able to identify signs of drug use and intoxication for commonly used and abused drugs. Participants will review relational framework and assumptions necessary to engage youth around substance use. Finally, participants will be introduced to techniques useful in engaging youth in discussing and addressing substance use.
