This training provides education for staff and families on the impact of physical wellness behaviors on staff, client, and family mental health. This in an interactive training in which trainees have the opportunity to reflect on their own health behaviors and learn about information and tools to help their clients.

Training Objectives:
  • Provide education on how improving physical wellness behaviors may improve mental and behavioral health symptoms.
  • Educate staff on physical health intervention which may improve client mental health.
  • Provide opportunity for staff to learn about their own physical wellness behavior and how they can improve their health outcomes.
  • Educate staff on research-based guidelines for helping families set physical health goals and improve outcomes.
