Foster Care Training

This is a 1 day workshop about the symptoms and impact of sexual abuse on boys and its continued impact into adulthood both personally and in relationships. Countertransference, socialization, female perpetrators, emotional incest and treatment will also be covered. Lecture, video, guided imagery, and didactic exercises will all be used in the training. At the end of the training, you will have a greater understanding of sexually abused males, have greater empathy for sexual abuse victims and be better equipped to assist your clients healing.
