We perceive the world by combining sensory information received by sight, hearing, touch, smell, taste and other senses. Neurodiversity is inherent in brain functioning – we all have strengths and areas of challenge when receiving and processing sensation. Trauma can create and enhance difficulties, while making art can help us to integrate our life experiences.

Learn creative strategies to support sensory awareness and integration, internal as well as external.

This training combines art making, movement, breathing, play, didactic lecture & interactive conversation. Information is grounded in direct experience as well as current research in neurobiology and trauma. Strategies will be relevant to diverse ages and populations, emphasizing children, youth & trauma survivors.
