Foster Care Training

Youth in the foster care system at times experience relationship losses or traumas in their home environment, while at the same time attempting to develop new relationships and family bonds with resource or kinship families. This training helps providers look at ways to screen for the impact of trauma in youth and to make recommendations about addressing youth’s and family’s needs. Providers will have opportunities to look at case examples to identify and examine the behaviors and relationships that are impacted by trauma exposure.
