Foster Care Training

This workshop will hopefully allow participants to explore clinically and culturally appropriate methods to address issues of grief and loss in client’s lives and the possible secondary impact on service providers. First, the group will work toward identifying and understanding the emotional and behavioral stages of grief and loss. Second, we will work towards developing coping strategies for service providers to maintain equilibrium and interventions for clients as they face the difficult work of mourning.
