Foster Care Training

This 3-hour training highlights high risk client situations, with a focus suicidality and homicidality,. Attendees will review common physiological and cognitive responses to crises and how to mitigate these responses in order to effectively support clients. Each crises type will include a categorization of mild, moderate, and severe risk, and corresponding protocols, or interventions. Attendees will practice the application of protocols in small groups and then process the experience as a larger group.
