Foster Care Training

This 6-hour training introduces attendees to the following concepts: social work-related dysregulation, physiological responses to crisis, pre-mortem planning, and risk assessment. Attendees will review protocols for community violence, family violence, suicidal and homicidal ideation, grave disability, neglect, and crisis de-escalation. Attendees will practice the application of protocols in small groups and then process the experience as a larger group.
