Participants in this training will learn key concepts related to trauma-informed care and the essential elements of trauma-informed caregiving. In addition, we will discuss the expectations, skills, roles and responsibilities of resource parents/families. Participants will also learn about how to support birth family relationships, address safety issues regarding contact and expectations related to the reasonable prudent parent standard.
