Foster Care Training

This is the third training in a series of skill-based trainings on the topic of family support, and will provide concepts and opportunity to practice direct skills related to engaging families in the change process. This is relevant to providers responsible for providing effective support to families with children returning from, or at risk of entering, out of home care. In this course, participants will learn how to identify each participant’s level of motivation and work strategically to enhance motivation. They be provided with examples of engagement skills and given the opportunity to practice with other participants.
