Foster Care Training

The foundation of success later in life is supporting children in learning social-emotional skills. In particular, this training will focus on emotional literacy. Learning to ID emotions, and strategies for self-regulation are the key foundations to developing friendship skills, focal attention and learning. Adults can play a role proactively, in the moment and through reflection to support children in building this critical skill. This training will be geared toward supporting young children 0-8 years old, however all strategies can be applied for those 2-99!
