This training (co-sponsored by CVC & EIS) is designed to assist mental health service providers create, review and update their critical analysis of professional legal ethics. We will utilize a user-friendly approach to draw connection and understanding between professional codes of ethics and prevailing law. The more thorough and fluent providers become, the easier it will be for them to confront, manage, resolve, and avoid ethical dilemmas: especially dilemmas that intersect with the law. We will explore legal ethics through the lens of providers, and draw connections from legal ethics to how the code’s language applies to their area of practice.
