Practical considerations for preparation, planning and implementation when beginning to invite others to make art to support healing.

This training is offered for those who aren’t sure how to begin to offer visual art activities to others; as well as for those who want to be more effective when integrating creative process into therapy or other supportive relationships with children, youth and families who are involved in systems of foster care and juvenile justice.

This training combines mindfulness practices, art making, movement, breathing, lecture, case examples & interactive conversation. Information is grounded in clinical experience as well as research in neurobiology, trauma, and expressive arts. Plan to stay for the full training please.
