Foster Care Training

The Social Media training is designed to give caregivers and staff a better understanding of potential safety risks and how to best maintain compliance as well as meet client rights. Participants will begin to examine the potential dangers of negative media, and how to begin the conversation between youth, caregivers and agency staff about how to counter its impact, and ultimately how media can be used for positive impacts. Tailored examples and scenarios, as well as scientific data will be used throughout the training providing a balance of structured input and discussion of best practices, safety factors and potential trauma triggers.
