Foster Care Training

The use of media and technology are proven methods of engaging and empowering urban male youth of color. We thus must be competent in utilizing these modalities, whether or not they stand at the center of our program services. Come learn accessible methods of integrating (social) media and technology in ways that help males transition from childhood to adulthood while building a positive male identity, healthy relationships, and more just and equitable communities. We will also share ways to support youth’s education, social-emotional wellness, professionalism and overall development as they navigate the ever-changing world of communication, information sharing and content generation in the modern world.
