Practical considerations for preparation, planning and implementation when beginning to include art in therapeutic work. Participants will experience, see and hear how art can be used to build resources in response to trauma, and to increase ability to regulate, and overall resiliency. This training will combine experiential art making with case examples, didactic lecture, and discussion. Information is grounded in current research in neurobiology, trauma, and art therapy.
