Foster Care Training

Through this experiential training, participants will gain insight into how trauma can be passed down through generations and its effects to youth today. It will include stories from parents, grandparents, and children on how trauma has affected their lives. There will also be a module that explores historical trauma for marginalized communities. The workshop concludes with models on trauma informed best practices that can be used when working with those who have experienced intergenerational trauma.
