Workshop participants will examine the diversity and range of human sexual experiences and intimate behaviors with a focus on youth and adolescents. Participants will explore conceptions of human sexuality and the ways that our social identities (gender, race, class, age, disability, religion, age, etc.) frame and impact beliefs/norms as related to sexuality. Finally attendees will explore, brainstorm, and have an opportunity to practice methods of engaging youth, staff, families, and others involved in client support, in these often challenging conversations.
