Foster Care Training

Many youth experience various forms of traumatic experiences. Areas of trauma may include exposure to psychological trauma such as immediate threat, chronic abuse, along with self-endangering behaviors that may include substance abuse, self-harm, and suicidality. This training focuses on understanding youth perspectives of trauma exposure and integrates the social context and environmental risks to services.
