This training will provide a general overview of HIV/AIDS and other STIs nationally and locally with an emphasis on youth and HIV/STIs. Current trends in HIV/AIDS, transmission, testing, and treatment will be reviewed. Participants will gain an understanding of the relationship between HIV/AIDS and other STIs and increase their comfort discussing sexual health with youth.
This training meets the BBS requirement for training on HIV/AIDS that is required for licensure purposes.
