Foster Care Training

In this interactive workshop, participants will learn the importance of self-care and mutual support for youth workers involved in helping male youth of color heal from and cope with trauma. Come develop awareness and practices to deal with violence in a way that promotes wellness and empowerment for us and the male youth we serve.

This training is the last in BOTR’s eight part 2014-15 series to build cultural competence of Alameda County youth-serving professionals working to empower urban boys and young men of color. Join us as we build a strong movement dedicated to this important cause.
