Foster Care Training

In this training, participants will learn about working with and keeping hair clean and stylish for all youth. In this interactive and fun training, you will see examples of hair care, learn where to go online and in the community for resources, such as tutorials and hair care products. You will learn the proper terminology for certain hair styles and learn what is age appropriate and what is not. For youth in your care who are in the foster care system, you will learn when you need to get County approval for changing a hair style. This training is run by staff who are well versed in hair care, care deeply about getting our youth to look good and feel good about themselves and have a lot of fun in the process.
