Foster Care Training

The Instructor will be addressing the common stages of grief and loss within the realm of all the losses that foster youth have experienced as well as grief and loss resource families experience when a child leaves their care. Instructor will give relevant examples and discuss situations in which additional intervention (such as therapy) may be needed for the foster youth. Instructor will also discuss ways the agency provides support to all grieving persons.
