Foster Care Training

This two hour interactive workshop will address how to best help families come to understand and articulate their own “gender story.” Problem solving of difficult cases and assessment for how to determine where gender fits into the larger picture will be given special emphasis. Child Welfare and Mental Health professionals will have an opportunity to address active or past cases using a family systems treatment approach with a gender affirmative practice model.
