Foster Care Training

Participants in this training will learn about key considerations related to foster youth and education such as foster youth educational rights and the academic achievement gap that occurs from being in the foster care system and having histories of trauma. Participants will also learn about the educational needs and concerns for foster youth, effective advocacy skills and ways to effectively support foster youth with making educational progress.
