Topics covered will include developing males as allies to females and intimate partner violence prevention. Come learn how boys and young men can be empowered to engage with dating and sexual partners in a healthy and responsible way.

This training is the 6th within an 8 part monthly series to build cultural competence of Alameda County youth serving professionals working to empower low-income urban boys and young men of color (BYMOC). Attendees do NOT have to participate in all workshops of this series, but if you want to mark your calendars, the next ones will be 5/14 and 6/4 from 9AM-12PM at Fred Finch Youth Center in Oakland, CA. The May workshop will be on serving those who identify as LGBTQ and homophobia reduction. Join us as we build a strong movement dedicated to this important cause.
