Many of our young people suffer from low motivation and confidence related to trauma and negative life experiences. How do we meet people where they are at and help them find motivation to make changes in their life? Additionally, what coaching techniques work to empower them to successfully stay away from self-sabotaging behaviors or at least move towards that goal? This training serves to provide insights and hands on practice to answer these questions. We will learn how to meet people where they are at expanding upon the uses of motivational interviewing for cessation and combining coaching techniques to support behavior change. Situational leadership coaching techniques will be shared and practiced during this interactive workshop. Prepare to be engaged with each other in practice!
