In this interactive workshop, participants will learn to support sexually diverse male identified youth of color within a safe, affirming and empowering environment. We will address how homophobia affects youth development and engagement with peers and adults. We will also present ways to prevent and confront homophobic comments and behaviors in a constructive way. Come learn how to support youth while helping adults to be more conscious around this issue so we can create safer and more equitable spaces within our schools, agencies and communities as a whole.
