This training looks at the key elements of trauma-informed programming treatment that any and all staff can use with all clients or students. Using specific inter-locking and reinforcing elements (Herman, 1992; Perry, 2006; Porges, 2011), attendees can build a high-quality, robust program for CSEC survivors. An experiential art project will allow attendees to bring back a visual to help with program transformation. An assessment tool will also be provided to give concrete recommendations for trauma-informed change within programming for CSEC-involved youth.
