Trauma impacts one’s sense of self-worth, experience of love, and skew one’s boundaries. This training will discuss the importance of having ongoing dialogue with youth at risk and/or in out-of-home placements about consent and coercion. This training will look at how youth are coerced into commercial sexual exploitation and into staying involved in the sex industry; and at strategies to engage youth in dialogue about consent and why they deserve to have their boundaries respected, as well as respecting other people’s boundaries.
