In Part 1 participants will learn the basics for providing competent clinical supervision. Topics include: Board of Psychology (BOP) and Boards of Behavioral Sciences (BBS) supervision requirements, developmental stages of supervisees and supervisors; assessment of supervisees skill level and learning style; planning how to make an individualized supervision plan; models and techniques of supervision; termination of the supervisory relationship, supervision versus psychotherapy; evaluation; leadership styles and how to address difficult situations.
