Foster Care Training

This training with Jill Duerr Berrick orients participants to foster care and kinship care (caregivers who are generally referred to as “resource families”) with a particular focus on California. The training covers issues related to resource family characteristics, recruitment, screening, training, support, and retention. Participants will become familiar with opportunities for mental health intervention to support children and their caregivers.
