The focus of this training is to provide caregivers information to build understanding and strategies for providing trauma-informed and culturally responsive care to address grief and loss experienced by youth in the foster care system. Participants will gain an understanding about how trauma that foster youth experience link to how they might act out their trauma and grief in addition to some of the long term consequences of excessive emotional stress for youth in foster care placement.
