Cultural responsiveness is a process of learning about the socioculturally diverse communities being served in our work with youth and families involved with many of our society’s public systems. Participants will have the opportunity to examine the role of culture and culturally responsive practices when working with youth and families. Participants will also be invited to engage in self-reflection on aspects of their professional and personal development in order to provide optimal services for youth and families in their communities. This training uses a collaborative model and will provide opportunities for creating new perspectives and strategies for culturally informed practice and service provision.
