As a care provider, especially in the home environment, it can be difficult at times to draw the line between friend and professional. In this training, students will explore the critical importance of maintaining professional boundaries in terms of when and how it is appropriate to self-disclose their own information and history, the processing and communication difficulties many clients face, and the reality that trauma is in all of our lives, so how can we keep the focus on our clients?
