Foster Care Training

This training will discuss communication strategies that Beats Rhymes and Life utilizes when working with youth. Participants will examine techniques such as active listening, giving and receiving feedback, and understanding communication in a group setting. Participants will learn the components of a song and be able to understand its relationship to effective communication with youth and providers. Participants will be able to engage in activities that challenge them to use communication skills to convey their specific ideas.
