Staff who work directly with family systems obtain an overview of family work intervention concepts consistent with many of the principles that underlie such Evidence-Based Practices (EBP) as functional, structural, brief strategic, and multi-systemic family work. The primary emphasis is on PITH Theory and how to assess and diagnose using PITH. See how such concepts as strength-based, enactment; reframing; triangulation; emotional boundaries and trauma, etc., are assessed using Pain in the Heart Theory. This introductory workshop prepares participants for the 4 week seminar that explores these concepts in more depth. Anyone who works directly with families is welcome to attend.
