Areas pertaining to advocacy, behavior support, IEP basics, and effective advocacy for critical school support for children in foster/kinships care is also discussed. This training will also provide a contextual understanding of struggles faced by youth by reviewing the school-to-prison pipeline for students in underrepresented and vulnerable communities, particularly children with emotional and behavioral challenges.
