Foster Care Training

This training will present the gender affirmative model for working with gender-nonconforming and transgender children/youth and their families.  This training will review variations in gender equal care, explore gender and its meanings to the child and youth, describe ways to affirm an authentic gender self, build gender resilience, and facilitate family and social supports.
