This workshop is designed to support practitioners in understanding the development of the sensory processing system in the context of early childhood trauma and adversity. The training will include the latest research information about trauma, child development, and sensory processing as these things are all extremely linked and often overlooked as relevant theory to inform practice. Participants will gain insight into how the sensory systems and trauma might be impacting their client’s ability to participate in psychotherapy sessions, school, and other important activities.
