Foster Care Training

This is a RE-CERTIFICATION. All participants must have previously been certified in the Pro-ACT Workshop and Pro-ACT Restraint Certification to attend. Students develop criteria for evaluating levels of danger, and methods of maintaining self-control and achieving attunement. Students develop strategies for limiting injurious behavior and providing need based alternatives. Students practice responses that adhere to agency and Licensing protocols and respect clients’ dignity and personal rights.
