This training is for clinicians and non-clinician staff working directly with a high-risk clientele with mental health and/or substance abuse issues in an outpatient setting. Participants will learn how to recognize the progression of escalating behavior and implement effective responses and interventions for each stage with the goal of preventing crisis from occurring. Modes of learning will include lecture and discussion, role playing, and applying real-life client situations to the training material being discussed.
