With immense challenges and threats facing our society, we can amplify our work to support children, youth, and families by harnessing the collective healing power within our communities. Cultures oriented toward collectivism have long been in practice around cultivating harmony in a variety of ways, and one way that is especially supportive of healing from trauma is around the harmonizing of bodies through song, chants, dance, and other movement. Join this mindfulness and movement-based training to:
  1. Understand how bodies in harmony can cultivate powerful cultures of resilience in communities
  2. Experience group yoga, movement, and breathing as ways to be in connection and harmony with others
  3. Identify one or more culturally relevant practices to support the harmonizing of bodies in your own work and community
